Christmas in Mississippi, Part 2 - The Sights and Adventures

In case you missed Part 1 - The Airplane, getting to Mississippi was quite an adventure.

But the fun did not stop there.  We had a few days before Christmas, so we got out a little to see the sights.

On night one, we hit a local sushi joint and although he wanted nothing to do with the sushi, the rice, or the edamame - he did try the tasty Japanese fruit juice.  Although I thought it was quite tasty, JJ was not fan.
He was, however, a huge fan of the beach. Just tempting him with the beach averted many tantrums, much whining, and the ever-dreaded battles to get him in the car seat. And once we got there, he was not disappointed.  It was a little chilly, but he loved walking to the water and insisted on holding Mom and Dad's hands most of the way.

And what would a trip anywhere be without a stop at Chuck E. Cheese?
Of course, JJ mostly just wanted to sit on the monster trucks, but he also enjoyed his first games of Pop-A-Shot and Skee Ball (although to be quite honest, he didn't do great at either!).

Christmas in Mississippi, Part 3 - which is actually about Christmas is coming soon!
